Interaction

This post will be about the interactivity of this video which explains addition and it’s property. This video is for student in grade 2, it starts by showing how addition works and the important terms used in addition. It ends by explaining two important properties of addition. This video can be a nice asset to my Interactive Learning Resource, as it can be used to to recap a knowledge of addition before starting the actual activity. Below given answers are for the questions asked in Interaction prompt page.

  1. This video does not need interaction from students and also doesn’t force them to respond in any ways.
  2. This video is especially nice for our Interactive Learning Resource because it has very nice animation which will keep kids engage in learning and as the video is small and concise, it is very likely that students will remember all what is taught through animation as it is like a cartoon. No note taking or activity is required while watching the video as it is just to refresh the memory on addition.
  3. They should solve few questions from the worksheet provided in Interactive Learning Resource, which will help them gain some confidence working with addition and prepare them for the activity they will be working on next. To practise this problems they can either do it in their math notebook or they can use an iPad and start writing on it.
  4. For this worksheet, the feedback will be given as a paper. For student who submitted hard copy of worksheet will get the same back with the feedback on it and for the students who submitted digital copy from iPad, instructor will print that worksheet and provide a feedback on it.
